Stillness in the Chaos

The Importance of Creating Space for YOU



“The usual things I do to feel secure and balanced aren’t working...”
“My normal tools are not working for me. What am I doing wrong?”
“There’s so much uncertainty and craziness every day. What’s going on?”
“Why can’t I get grounded lately?”

These are some of the things I’m hearing from my clients, and I know they’re not alone because I’m experiencing much of this myself. Many have remarked that 2025 has lasted for decades already, and it’s only March. We are moving through many emotions and frequencies very rapidly. We can experience fast, high frequencies and slow, heavier, low frequencies and back again within a single day—or a single hour! Have you been experiencing this? If so, please know you’re not crazy, and you’re not wrong.

It’s a lot for our physical bodies to process, especially if you are sensitive. It’s very easy to spin our wheels trying to figure everything out and grasp for the answers. We scroll and scroll but never get to the end, never reaching that relief or release we’re seeking. There is so much happening cosmically, globally, nationally, locally, and also for us personally in our own individual spheres. We don’t know what’s around the corner, and things change astonishingly quickly.

Because of this rapid pace, I believe it is more important now than ever before for us to be intentional with our energy and with what we are choosing to place our attention on and put our thoughts, emotions, time, and resources towards. It’s vital that we deliberately sit still and invite quietness so that we can rediscover our own space. It’s essential that we create our space—our energetic bubble—around us and choose to own it.


I invite you to take a few moments now

Sit quietly with both feet on the floor and your back supported.
Close your eyes.
Notice the inner thoughts, images, sounds, sensations.
Breathe. Inhale. Exhale.
Begin to release any tension in your body and let it flow into the Earth below you.
Notice where your attention is and what you’ve been putting your attention on.
What’s pulling you?
Gently call your attention back to your body.
Let your attention rest behind your eyes in the center of your head.
Let the noise fade away from you and your body.
Visualize a bubble around your body.
Imagine there is plenty of room above your head, below your feet, and all around.
See a root or tree trunk emerging from the base of your spine, going deep into the center of the Earth.
Now visualize a large, brilliant gold sphere or sun several feet above your head.
Without effort, simply allow that gold sun to call back your energy from every place, every situation, every problem, every person. Let it call your energy back from the past, from the future, and from everything you are trying to solve or understand.
Let it call back your peace, your joy, your abundance, your validation.
Breathe.
Bring that gold sun down into the top of your bubble. Allow it to descend down into your entire space.
Feel yourself soaking up your energy into every cell, synapse, and tissue of your body from head to toe.
Fill yourself up past your physical body and into your entire bubble.
Allow your entire space to be filled with YOU.
Breathe.
When you’re ready, bend over and touch the floor.
Open your eyes.


Lately, I’ve been doing a version of this meditation with my clients before or after their session. Many of my clients have been working with me for years and know how to use these tools in this meditation by themselves. However, we’ve noticed that it is powerful when we do it together.
